About Sam
Samuel Garza is a proud military brat, with both of his parents having served in the U.S. Army. He graduated from Robert G. Cole High School in the Fort Sam Houston Independent School District in 2018. Currently, Samuel works for the San Antonio Water System (SAWS) and actively participates in the Special Olympics as a bowler.
His deep connection to the military community led him to join Purple Up USA, where he is passionate about raising awareness of its mission. Samuel is dedicated to helping others understand the unique lifestyle of military children and in celebrating their dedication to their families and their country.
If you don't see Samuel at a Purple Up USA event, chances are he's in the CAMO costume!
